Account/Data Deletion Request

We respect your privacy and are committed to providing you with control over your personal data. If you wish to have your account or data removed from our platform, please follow the steps outlined below:

How to Request Deletion

1. Login to Your Account: Ensure you are logged into the account you wish to delete on the App.
2. Navigate to Settings: Go to your account settings, typically found in the top-right corner of the page.
3. Request Deletion: Look for the “Delete My Account” option within the settings menu. NB: for data deletion, we’ll automatically delete data used for verification purposes 90 days after we receive them.
4. Provide Additional Information (if necessary): Depending on your jurisdiction and the nature of your request, we may need you to provide additional information or confirm your identity.
5. Confirmation Email: You will receive a confirmation email with further instructions to verify your request.

What Happens Next

• Verification Process: Our team will review your request and may reach out for further verification if necessary.
• Deletion Process: Once verified, your account and associated data will be scheduled for deletion. This process may take up to 7 working days.
• Confirmation of Deletion: You will receive a final confirmation email once your account and data have been successfully deleted.
• Pending Loans: The request will not be approved if there are any pending loans or transactions associated with your account.

Important Notes

• Data Retention: We retain certain data for legal or operational purposes even after account deletion. This data will be anonymized and cannot be linked back to you.
• Recovery Period: Should you change your mind, you have a 7-day window after deletion to request account recovery. After this period, your data will be permanently purged.

Please note that account deletion is irreversible and will result in the permanent loss of all associated data. Be sure to back up any information you wish to keep before proceeding.
